I direct a wide variety of research studies designed to define optimal treatments for children with hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. My work on prophylactic use of clotting factor concentrates has revolutionized the treatment of children with severe hemophilia.

Research Interest for Referring Providers
I am involved in clinical trials including thrombosis and hemostasis. I am interested in Neonatal Coagulation, Hemophilia, Von Willebrand’s Disease. I focus on prelicensure studies of novel clotting factors, as well as rare bleeding and clotting disorders, such as: Protein C deficiency and A/Hypo/Dysfibrinogenemia.
