Clinical Interests for Referring Providers

I operate on heart and aortic pathologies including aneurysms and thoracic transplantation. In particular, I provide the full scope of procedures for aortic aneurysmal disease including both open and endovascular approaches. Some of my specialty areas include coronary artery bypass grafting, mitral valve repair, arrythmia surgery, aortic valve repair, aortic stent grafting, aortic aneurysms, root aneurysms, ascending aortic aneurysms, aortic arch aneurysms, hybrid aortic procedures, and hypothermic circulatory arrest.

Research Interest for Referring Providers

I am exploring ways to prevent spinal cord injury from thoracoabdominal aortic surgery. By better understanding the injury, we hope to prevent any of our patients from having postoperative paraplegia and its inherent complications.
