Research Interests for Patients

Dr. Love’s research uses deep phenotyping approaches to identify and understand the environmental, neurobiological, and socio-cultural risk factors that drive psychiatric disease and facilitate recovery. Her work has employed a variety of behavioral, genetic, and neuroimaging techniques to explore the mechanisms that underlie sensitivity to stress, pain, and reward and, ultimately, contribute to the formation of psychiatric illness.
