Clinical Interest for Patients
My clinical interests include the assessment and treatment of common childhood behavioral difficulties (e.g., tantrums, noncompliance, toileting/feeding/sleeping difficulties, etc.), severe behavioral concerns, and chronic irritability. Primary diagnoses of patients I treat include ODD, ADHD, and DMDD. My treatment approach prioritizes working with both the patient and parent/caregiver in addressing these concerns.
Care Philosophy
I use a family-focused and collaborative approach. I believe in the importance of taking time to understand why challenges may be occurring and developing an evidence-based treatment plan that is tailored to the individual needs of the patient and family. Primary therapeutic modalities I use include cognitive behavior therapy, behavior therapy, and parent/caregiver coaching.

Clinical Interests for Referring Providers
My clinical interests include the assessment and treatment of common childhood behavioral difficulties (e.g., tantrums, noncompliance, toileting/feeding/sleeping difficulties, etc.), as well as more severe behavior problems. I have expertise in treating pediatric irritability, as it may manifest in diagnoses such as ODD, ADHD, and DMDD, and prioritize partnering with both the patient and parent/caregiver in my treatment approach.
Research Interest for Referring Providers
Central to my research interests are variables related to the development, display, and modification of disruptive behavior problems and/or chronic irritability exhibited by children. I am particularly interested in developing and disseminating effective clinical interventions that can treat these concerns. My research lab at Children's Hospital Colorado has focused primarily on empirically evaluating the utility of a transdiagnostic approach to the assessment and treatment of pediatric behavioral health difficulties.
