Clinical Interest for Patients
My many clinical interests include general rehabilitation care, cerebral palsy evaluation and management, brain injury care including concussion, torticollis and head shape (plagiocephaly) evaluations, osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone multidisciplinary care), tone management. I am also a teacher at heart with a role in educational leadership in directing, teaching and mentorship in our nationally renown Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine fellowship program. I love shaping our future doctors to care for your incredible kids.
Care Philosophy
I am passionate about rehabilitation medicine for children to advance abilities and realize the functional potential of each child and young adult. My goal is to provide patient and family goal-directed care. I start clinic visits asking "What are your concerns or major questions for our visit?" I believe in treating the child (or young adult) as a whole and strive for clear communication between me, your child or young adult, your family, therapists and other medical care providers.
