Clinical Interest for Patients
My primary clinical interest is asthma, including difficult-to-treat and severe asthma. I am the co-director of the Multidisciplinary Asthma Clinic, which takes a team approach to improve asthma care for children by working with Allergy, Pulmonary Medicine, Social Work, Speech Therapy, and Nutrition. I also see patients who have environmental allergies, food allergies, nasal symptoms, drug allergies, and hives. While I am happy to see children of all ages, I am particularly interested in helping adolescents transition their care from pediatric to adult medicine.
Care Philosophy
Before going into Allergy, I completed a combined residency treating both children and adults. Given this background, I care deeply about how a child's asthma and allergies can affect them both now and throughout their lives. I appreciate the significant impact these conditions make on both the child's and family's quality of life. I partner with families to provide comprehensive, efficient, personalized care for my patients that fits their needs. I value a multidisciplinary team-based approach to support patients and their families.

Research Interests for Patients
My research focuses on the treatment of difficult-to-control and severe asthma, including incorporation of technology to help patients who are still having problematic asthma despite using their current medications. I am also interested in helping to improve the transition of pediatric patients to adult care.

Clinical Interests for Referring Providers
My clinical interests primarily center on difficult-to-treat and severe asthma. I serve as the co-director of the Multidisciplinary Asthma Clinic, which focuses on those patients with frequent emergency room visits and hospitalizations and poorly controlled disease despite guidelines-based therapy. I also see patients with allergic rhinitis, food allergies, and urticaria. Given my Med-Peds background, I am particularly interested in the transitional care of adolescent patients from pediatric to adult care.
Research Interest for Referring Providers
My research interests primarily focus on difficult-to-treat and severe asthma, electronic medication monitoring, and pediatric-to-adult transition.
