My scholarly pursuits encompass advancements within the cardiac catheterization laboratory, with a focus on cutting-edge technologies such as 3D fusion imaging, 3D printing derived from 3D rotational angiograms, and the integration of Virtual/Extended Reality in catheterization procedures. Additionally, I am deeply interested in exploring a low-radiation approach for complex percutaneous interventions, aiming to reduce contrast and fluoroscopy exposure for both patients and catheterization laboratory personnel. Furthermore, my research aims to develop of alternative imaging modalities tailored for intricate congenital heart diseases (CHD) like pulmonary vein stenosis. I am dedicated to exploring systematic management strategies, encompassing both medical and interventional approaches, to address the complexities associated with pulmonary vein stenosis in CHD patients.

Clinical Interests for Referring Providers

My many clinical interests include percutaneous approach to PDA (including premie PDAs on patients >700grams), ASD, VSD, pulmonary valve replacement, coarctation of the aorta, pulmonary vein stenosis patients, single ventricle assessment and interventions, branch pulmonary artery stenosis, etc. All these procedures performed safely with the support of multimodality imaging to decrease overall radiation dose, contrast dose and procedural time.
