Clinical Interest for Patients
I enjoy taking care of patients from childhood through adolescence for the care of injuries related to sports and other physical activities. I treat concussions, sprains/strains, joint injuries including dislocations, fractures, and overuse injuries. I also consult regarding the impact of medical conditions on sports participation and exercise.

I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and our dogs in the beautiful Colorado weather and scenery through snowshoeing, hiking, cycling and snowboarding.

As a former collegiate soccer player, I enjoy staying connected to the game through my role as medical director for multiple area soccer clubs and team physician at the high school level.

Clinical Interests for Referring Providers
My clinical interest is pediatric sports medicine including care of musculoskeletal injuries, concussions and medical conditions in athletes (care of the female athlete, overtraining, exercise intolerance). I also have an interest in promoting physical activity for all children and adolescents, including using exercise as medicine in managing various health conditions.
Research Interest for Referring Providers
My current research interests are in the area of pediatric concussions, specifically related to optimizing treatment during recovery and reducing risk of re-injury - concussion or musculoskeletal - following return to play.
