I love Star Wars way too much. I am also a fan of movies and books with dark humor or slow and sad stories.
Volunteer Activities
I am committed to supporting younger people to pursue a career in STEM, to create and provide opportunities for the community. I am involved with the Letters to a Pre-Scientist, Expanding Your Horizons (conference for girls in middle school), Regeneron Science Talent Search and Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair, Skype a Scientist as well as several other community and professional groups.

Research Interests for Patients
My research interests are primarily focused on identifying the experiences and risk for people living with progressive brain diseases that affect their movement and thinking skills. I work to create and share resources to raise awareness, support the community, and advance the knowledge on the unique experiences of the Lewy body dementia community with different sex, gender, sexual orientation, ethnic, and racial identities.

My research interests are primarily focused on sex, gender, ethnicity and race differences in neurodegenerative Parkinsonian disorders. My work at UC Anschutz is focused on developing resources for the community, and better understanding the unique experiences of people with Lewy body dementia based on their sex, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity and race.
