Research Interests for Patients

My research explores personalized risk assessment, lifestyle recommendations, and potential disease-altering approaches for those most likely to benefit. I have a passion for preventing dementia. I have an interest in cognitive decline in Parkinson's disease focusing on modifiable and/or treatable risk factors. I am interested in understanding the profound sex differences in Alzheimer's disease. I am also interested in the real-world response to anti-amyloid therapies in populations not well-represented in the original clinical trials including atypical presentations of Alzheimer's disease.

Clinical Interests for Referring Providers

My clinical interests are cognitive decline suspected to be due to underlying neurodegenerative processes including Alzheimer's disease, Lewy body disorders, and frontotemporal lobar dementias. I also see patients with cognitive decline suspected due to structural brain changes, including white matter disease, vascular dementia, cerebral amyloid angiopathy, disorders of cerebral spinal fluid, and others.
