Provider Expertise

Clinical Interest for Patients

I have expertise in the management of chronic neck and back pain, sciatica, other extremity pain including complex regional pain syndrome and neuropathy as well as headache, abdominal and pelvic pain, chest wall pain and cancer pain.

Care Philosophy

Pain impacts all aspects of life, from physical function to psychological well-being to social interaction. Similarly, both the underlying causes and the treatments of pain require the combination of the physical, social and psychological. I work to recognize and understand the patient's experience to connect with them and develop a targeted treatment plan. I employ as many tools as I can to help reduce my patients' pain, while also working to with them to take steps within their control to help manage their pain.

Clinical Interests for Referring Providers

I have expertise in the management of chronic spine and radicular pain, complex regional pain syndrome, headache, abdominal and pelvic pain, chest wall pain, cancer pain and a wide variety of neuropathies. I perform a wide range of interventional pain techniques to treat these conditions, but I am also passionate about helping other providers to employ targeted and appropriate pharmacotherapy for chronic pain. I also have expertise in the evidence-based use of cannabinoids for pain as well as the safety implications of this treatment.
