Virtual Wellness Workshops Help Participants Develop Mindful Eating Habits

Join Dr. Liz Chamberlain to learn evidence-supported, hands-on tools and strategies to support the habits that can contribute to success in managing weight.

The CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center presents a series of virtual workshops focused on mindful eating and stress management. Led by Dr. Liz Chamberlain, psychologist at CU Medicine Weight Management and Wellness – CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center, these monthly sessions provide evidence-supported, hands-on tools and strategies to support successful weight management.

“These stress eating workshops are educational and interactive for participants. We’ve all been there before, when we sit down to eat a bag or chips or a chocolate bar and suddenly it’s all gone,” says Dr. Chamberlain. “People walk away with strategies to identify the cues and habits we have to eat and with tools to get the reward they are seeking.”

Each interactive workshop runs from 4-5 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month, with 15 minutes dedicated to participant questions. All sessions are held virtually via Zoom, allowing participants to join from any location.
