CU Medicine stands for University of Colorado Medicine. The physicians and advanced practice providers who practice at CU Medicine are faculty at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, known for its cutting-edge clinical trials and innovations in healthcare as well as best-in-class bedside manner. CU Medicine also delivers business operations and administrative services to support patients and providers. With over 4,000 providers and a large range of specialties, our expert team is here to treat you and your family – for all your health care needs.
Our mission is to provide the highest quality care to meet each patient’s health care goals. “Our expertise is not just derived from the latest in science, it comes from listening carefully to our patients and their questions and concerns. Our patients and their family members have put their trust in us and we take our responsibility seriously,” said Anne Fuhlbrigge, MD, Chief Medical Officer of CU Medicine.
With locations across the region, our clinics offer comprehensive specialties
and convenient locations, “We have over 75 clinics throughout Denver and plan to expand within the community to bring expert care to your backyard,” said Ami Giardina, RN, DNP, Vice President of Community Practice, CU Medicine.
CU Medicine focuses on combining unmatched expertise with transparency and empathy to ensure patients get the support they deserve. “The providers at CU Medicine are at the forefront of medical innovation. Our combined experience allows us
to offer advanced care throughout the Colorado community,” said Christina Finlayson, MD, Associate Medical Director, CU Medicine.
We have partnerships with some of the nation's top hospitals. So, in addition to receiving care from a CU Medicine provider near your home, you may also see a CU Medicine provider at UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital or Children’s Hospital Colorado, each of which have been ranked among “America’s Top Hospitals” by U.S. News and World Report. These partnerships give our patients the peace of mind that if their health care needs require hospital care, we are partnered with the best in Colorado.
Another convenient way to see a CU Medicine provider is virtually via telehealth.
When the COVID-19 pandemic limited office visits, our providers adapted to meet patients’ needs. Telehealth visits went from zero at the beginning of 2020 to more than 40,000 visits a month by April 2020. “We adapted faster than many thought
was possible,” said Fuhlbrigge. “Telehealth is here to stay, and in some specialties, it’s a very effective way of delivering care.”
CU Medicine telehealth services are easy and convenient. Through telehealth
video visits, we bring CU School of Medicine providers to your home conveniently, securely, and safely through your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
