Clinical Interest for Patients
My many clinical interests include treating bipolar disorder and other mood disorders, substance abuse treatment and prevention, suicide prevention, activating health behavior change, stress management, and "Common Sense" parent coaching.
Care Philosophy
My role as an integrated care psychologist is to work in partnership with patients of all ages as a member of their primary care medical team to improve their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. I believe wellness is not a quick fix, but a way of living that's built on our day to day choices and behaviors. I offer brief evidenced based treatment focused on practical skills to address issues like improving sleep, lowering stress and anxiety, stabilizing mood, coping with chronic pain, increasing healthy habits, and reducing the use of alcohol and other substances.
